Wishing our families and the community a safe and Happy Easter.
Here is a snapshot of the fun Easter activities the children have been participating in this week. With Easter egg hunts and lots of craft each day from the littlest of our children to the biggest.

The children have been very busy over the last week creating their scarecrows for the Barossa Vintage Festival. They have named them Frank (on the left , made by the littlest people at the centre) and DJ (on the right made by the Kindy children). Please have a look at the fantastic work they have done. The children decided that Frank and DJ need some resources out there with them, so some books, bikes and sand were left for Frank and DJ to play with.

Up 'N' Grow Early Learning are joining in with the Scarecrow trail as part of the Barossa Vintage festival.
The children are going to make 2 scarecrows one will be made by the Kindy children, and the other one will be made by the Nursery and Toddler children.
We are looking for donations of stuffing for the scarecrows, we are aware of the shortage of hay/straw currently so we thought if anyone has old pillows, quilts etc that we can use the stuffing from this would work wonderfully. We are also seeking 2 pairs of old boots, a couple of hats and pants as well.
Thank you in advance for your assistance with this project.
The scarecrows when completed will be on display on the Hanson Road side of the Centre.

Up 'N' Grow have a wishing tree in the front foyer, please feel free to donate to this before the 12th December. The presents will be taken to Barossa Lutheran care for delivery to Children in need.
