Father’s Day 2026 ☕️💙

The Coffee Van was a huge success again this morning, kicking off our Father’s Day celebrations for 2026! 🎉

It was fantastic to see so many Dads, Mums and Carers enjoying a coffee or hot chocolate, a pastry, a sausage and a chat. ☕️🥐🌭

A huge thank you to Mr Bull for organising another special treat for our school community! 🥰

Happy Father’s Day to all our amazing Dads and Carers! 💙

REMINDER: Tomorrow is our Father's Day coffee morning! Dads, Grandpas and special people are invited to enjoy a free hot drink provided by Volks Coffee. There will also be a sausage sizzle for all the dads and special people. Coffee being served from 8am out the front of the office! We hope to see you all there!
Also don't forget to send the kids with some money to buy a gift from the Father's Day stall during the day!

What a wonderful Book Week we’ve had here at Frankston East! Here’s some of our creative class doors, each class picked a book and decorated the doors and hallways with the books theme, and it looks wonderful! 📚

BOOK WEEK 2026📖📚
We were blessed with some lovely weather this morning for our annual Book Week parade and what a turnout we had! So many amazing costumes from both students & staff!!! It was fantastic to see so many parents here at school and to see the effort they had put into their students' costumes. The students had a fantastic time parading around the basketball court. Well done everyone and especially our prize winners for best costume and best book cover design for each year level.

Get those costumes ready! This Wednesday, our students will celebrate Book Week!
Families are warmly invited to come along and watch the parade and celebrate with us. Volks Coffee Van will be on site serving up delicious coffee for families to enjoy while they watch! We can't wait to see all the creative costumes and celebrate our love of books together!

🌟Aussie of the Month August 2026🌟
Layne D
A big congratulations to our August Aussie of the Month Layne from Prep M.
Layne always demonstrates kindness and respect towards his peers and staff. He is polite, well-mannered and a positive role model in our classroom.
Layne is a popular member of his class and has established many wonderful friendships. He enjoys coming to school and works hard to stay on task and participate positively in all school activities.
Layne is an enthusiastic and organised learner who always completes his work to the best of his ability. He enjoys challenging himself and is always eager to have a go at new and interesting learning experiences.
Layne particularly enjoys reading and has an amazing wealth of knowledge about planets, places around the world and many other fascinating facts. He loves sharing his knowledge with the class and enjoys teaching others about the interesting things he has discovered.
Keep up the great work and congratulations on this achievement.
