Fifty five years this weekend since I started my apprenticeship in Canberra - what a journey!!

A lot of kitchen stuff coming up on my personal market place site - check it out 👨‍🍳

Dinner tonight
- Grilled half cos x 2 in olive oil - take out.
- add more olive oil, crushed garlic, drained chickpeas, slivered almonds + splash of lime juice and balsamic glaze.
- finish with fresh herbs from the garden - mint, parsley and Thai basil - pour over cos. Garnish with pomegranate seeds and goats feta.
Grill the salmon fillets, three minutes each side and serve.
Took me 15 minutes from start to finish.

I really miss these days in the cooking school - every week a new group of people to meet and work with in the kitchen.

Awesome group of friends in the school on Saturday. Prawn ravioli with bisque sauce , Thai red curry chicken with basmati rice and chocolate soufflé with vanilla bean ice cream. We have had some great days over the past twelve years but this one was up there with the best
