At CIC, parents choose our college because they want their children to have access to genuine opportunity ~ academically, personally and beyond the classroom. They want academic rigour that challenges their child to think deeply, learn with purpose and reach their potential.

But they also want their child to be happy. To remain connected to their values, to feel a sense of belonging, and to stay curious about the world around them.

A great education isn’t about choosing between academic excellence and wellbeing. It’s about creating an environment where both can thrive.

At CIC, we’re committed to helping young people become confident, capable and curious learners, ready to embrace the opportunities ahead.

At CIC, sports like badminton provide students with valuable opportunities to develop teamwork, movement skills, hand-eye coordination, communication and cooperation.

Alongside their learning in Mathematics, Science, English, Languages and other curriculum areas, Physical Education gives students the opportunity during the school day to move, be active, develop new skills and have fun.

These experiences support the development of confident, capable and well-rounded learners, while fostering positive attitudes towards physical activity and lifelong wellbeing.

🌺 Congratulations to our students on their outstanding performance of Moana 2.0!🪝

Two magical performances delighted audiences in a jam-packed Foster Arts Centre.

Students should feel incredibly proud of the effort, commitment and enthusiasm they have poured into this production over the past weeks and months. From rehearsals and learning lines, songs and choreography, to supporting one another and giving their absolute best on stage, you have all worked so hard, and it truly showed.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped bring this wonderful production to life.

🛶 Thank you Luke and Jen for your creative directing, set design, costume-making and support of students throughout.

💡 Thanks Louis for being our MC, designing projections, lighting, joy and laughter!

🩵 Ankia, thank you for welcoming our guests and for your support, encouragement and care for our students backstage.

💃 Thank you to our dance instructor, Chloe Gilliam, for all of your hard work, professionalism and dedication. Your expertise and passion helped our students shine.

🎶💡 Thank you Brett Van Hoorn and Scott Grattan for lifting the stage with your wonderful sound and lighting. You helped create such a magical atmosphere and brought the whole production to life.

🎭 Thank you Taya Aarts and Abby Pettit for all of your hard work behind the scenes, and Tayla and Matt for your incredible efforts and support.

🍽️ Thank you Rick Martin for always being there to help, especially with catering, your support was so appreciated.

🍿 Thanks Young and Rooker families for the many efforts behind the scenes in costume-making and prop-building. Thanks Lily and Ben for the fresh popcorn.

🌴 Thank you Meeniyan Store for generously lending us the palms, and John O’Sullivan for donating props.

🐠 Thank you Woodside Primary School for lending additional props that added even more colour, creativity and fun to our production.

We must also thank the hall committee at FWMAC for the ongoing hall hire and assistance in setting up and packing up for our production. This relationship makes our performing arts program possible.

It truly takes a village to put on a production like this, and we are so grateful to every person who contributed their time, energy, skills and generosity.

Most of all, well done to our amazing students!

⭐ You have worked, grown, supported each other and absolutely shone. Moana 2.0 was a wonderful celebration of your talent, courage, creativity and teamwork. You should all be so, so proud! 💙🌺✨
