Brisbane Youth Policy Challenge | Listening to the voices of the next generation.
Last week, our Brisbane Youth Policy team took part in the inaugural Youth Policy Competition, hosted by Madonna Jarrett MP, alongside students from schools across Brisbane.
Grace, Ari, Scarlett, Parinitha and Tara did an incredible job researching and presenting policy ideas on issues including public transport, mental health, education funding and university equity.
Weβre so proud of our students for putting themselves forward, sharing their ideas and exploring how policy can create positive change. π
The future is bright with young people like these leading the way! π

Your FVSSC journey starts here! ππ
Our 2027 Year 7 group enrolment interviews are underway, with future students taking part in an important step towards joining the FVSSC community.
While weβll be welcoming plenty more future Year 7 students through our doors over the coming months, this is a little reminder for families planning for Year 7 in 2027: make sure your enrolment paperwork is in so your child can take part in the enrolment process, including Orientation Day in Term 4.
Weβre looking forward to meeting our future Year 7 students and welcoming the Class of 2032 to FVSSC! πβ¨
