When it comes to working in childcare, age is not a barrier.
Check out the review from our trainer and her former student Margaret.
Margaret spends 3 days per week in the Kindy room at a service in Queensland where she works on the implementation of the 3a program, which is a wonderful initiative to support children's literacy.
It is such a joy to see the relationships that Margaret has developed with the children, families and the community.
Thank you Margaret for your dedication and commitment. You are a true inspiration to children's learning and education.

***ACCCO 2022 Annual Conference***
After three years of cancellations and lock downs, the team at ACCCO were finally able to come together nationally. For some, it was the first time meeting face to face and for others a great opportunity to catch up with our staff and trainers.
We had the pleasure of Dr Justin Coulson as our key note speaker who was hilarious but also provided us with a fantastic workshop on "Attitude is Everything".
Following on from Justin, we had a fantastic workshop by Associate Professor Jennifer Cartmel who presented a workshop on Intergenerational Care and others. This was an engaging workshop which also included an update on the changes to the Approved Learning Frameworks.
On the final day, our staff came together for an amazing group activity. Be Challenged is an organisation that focuses on fun and team building activities. The Big Picture requires teams to collaborate and communicate to create an enormous multi-canvas artwork, reflecting our goals and values.
The final product was unbelievable. It will be on display at our Head Office in Brisbane.
Finally, we spent our last evening together at a Halloween theme dress up party at the Story Bridge Hotel. The backdrop of Brisbane City was beautiful and everyone agreed it was a great night.
Thank you to Marina our Operations Manager and ACCCO's leadership team for making this event a success. We all made some beautiful memories and new friends.
We can't wait to next year.

ACCCO has had enquiries from students who were studying with an RTO that has recently gone in to liquidation.
We understand it can be stressful and difficult when your training provider closes while you are still completing your studies.
To help you, we need evidence of training. This will confirm the units of competency you completed, and will allow us to develop a training plan.
Please send to us either:
โข Your statement of attainment; or
โข USI transcript โ https://www.asqa.gov.au/students/provider-closures
We are unable to accept partially completed assessments from another training provider. When you obtain your evidence of training, please send it to us so we can work out a plan for you.
