🌿 Holiday Closure Notice 🌿

Geetha’s Family Day Care will be taking a short holiday break and will be closed from 3 July 2027 to 8 August 2027.

will reopen on 9 August 2027. Looking forward to welcoming everyone back for more fun, learning, and beautiful memories together. 💚

What an amazing day we had! 📚💛

We enjoyed a wonderful visit to the library, where the story was all about the importance of friendship, kindness, and caring for one another. The children loved listening and sharing their thoughts.

After the library, we went shopping for our special end-of-the-week treat. It’s a lovely tradition that the children always look forward to, and they absolutely loved every moment of it!

Ending the week with smiles, learning, and happy memories together. 🌟

🌱 Little Hands, Big Hearts in the Garden 🌱

Today, our little gardeners rolled up their sleeves, put on their gloves, and got their hands into the soil as they planted seedlings with care and excitement. Gardening gives children the opportunity to slow down, connect with nature, and learn that beautiful things take time to grow.

As they dug, planted, watered, and explored, they developed patience, responsibility, confidence, and an appreciation for the environment. Every handful of soil, every tiny plant, and every curious question became a meaningful learning experience.

Sometimes the best classroom is the garden, where muddy hands, fresh air, and happy hearts help children blossom. 🌿💚

Back to Our Roots – Traditional Stone Grinding Fun!

Today, our little chefs stepped back in time to discover how Grandma used to make fresh chutney using a traditional stone mortar and grinder. 🥣💚

The children loved adding fresh mint, coriander, garlic, and onion while taking turns grinding the ingredients on the stone. They explored the different textures, enjoyed the wonderful aromas, and experienced how food was lovingly prepared before modern kitchen appliances.

This hands-on experience encouraged teamwork, sensory exploration, fine motor skills, and an appreciation for our rich cultural traditions. Sometimes the simplest methods create the most meaningful learning moments. ❤️

Happy 4th Birthday to our beautiful Zara! 🎉🎂💖

What a beautiful day celebrating our sweet Zara turning 4! A big thank you to Zara’s mum and grandma for celebrating with us, and a heartfelt thank you to our wonderful fellow educators for joining the celebration.

The sun was shining, everyone had an amazing time, and it was a day filled with love, laughter, and happy memories.

🌟 Learning Through Fun! 🍝✂️

Every Monday, it can be a little challenging for children to get back into their routine after spending the weekend with family and friends. When it’s time for writing and learning activities, they often say, “We want to go outside and play!” 😊

So instead of practising writing, we decided to strengthen their little fingers by practising how to cut spaghetti! 🍝✂️

They had so much fun, enjoyed spending time together and strengthened their fine motor skills through play. Learning is always more enjoyable when it feels like fun! 💕

Our children picked fresh lavender stems from nature and created beautiful natural air fresheners for their mums’ and dads’ cars. They enjoyed the lovely aroma and were so excited to take them home and show their parents. 🥰

Nature is full of natural beauty and wonderful gifts! 🌿💜
