Forrest Beach State School Parents and Friends Forrest Beach is a beautiful beach side community in north Queensland, located 1.5hrs drive from Townsville, in the shire of Hinchinbrook.

The Forrest Beach community services include a a great primary school and Surf Lifesaving Club and active Lions Club, Local Progress Association and QCWA. Local shops and facilities include a Beach Front Hotel, grocery, hairdresser, chemist, takeaway, real estate, newsagent and post office. There are also vehicle repairs, welding services and storage sheds and many other trade services. Our primar

y school includes a community resource room, where you can use computers and the internet and meeting facilities. Our new multi purpose hall is available for sports and arts use. The community is welcome to use the school playgrounds, oval and tennis court. To find out more about the school and use of the facilities give us a call on 47981333. We have set up this site to:
* Communicate the school and local community calendar and to let our community know about upcoming events.
* Celebrate school achievements.
* Provide another form of 2 way communication with our community.
* Promote the school resources that are available for use in the community

NIPPERS IS BACK! 🙌😃
The countdown is on! We're excited to welcome both returning and new families to our Nippers Sign-On and Come 'n' Try Day on Sunday 12 July, from 9 - 11 am.

Nippers is open to children aged 5–14 years, so whether you're a returning member or keen to see what it's all about, we'd love to see you there! Come and meet our volunteers, learn about the program and experience the fun of Surf Life Saving.

🌭 Stick around afterwards for a sausage sizzle!

Bring your family, bring your friends and join us for a great morning on the beach. We can't wait to welcome everyone back for another fantastic Nippers season!
