A huge thank you to Mr Simon Geeves and our Year 9 Hospitality students for treating the St John's staff to a fantastic catering experience today. Their hard work and skills were on full display, and the delicious results spoke for themselves. Well done to everyone involved!

Years 9-12 Art students went on a fabulous excursion to The Gallery of Modern Art & Queensland Art Gallery (QAGOMA) at Southbank, where they viewed the current Exhibitions, including the Olafur Eliasson Presence Exhibition and the Creative Generations Exhibition.

This experience was an exciting opportunity for students to encounter artworks firsthand, develop visual literacy, and gain inspiration and understanding of artistic practices, ideas and contexts.

Ready, set, go!

Our Junior Athletics Carnival was a wonderful celebration of participation, perseverance and house spirit. We loved seeing our students cheer each other on, challenge themselves and have fun every step of the way.

Market Day was a recipe for success!

Our Year 10 students showcased their entrepreneurial spirit, serving up an incredible variety of homemade goodies to hungry staff and students alike. From planning and budgeting to customer service and sales, they gained valuable real-world experience and had plenty of fun along the way.

Our Junior School community gathered for a beautiful Baptism Service, celebrating this special milestone in the faith journey of our students and their families.

Filled with joy, reflection and gratitude, the service was a meaningful reminder of the love, hope and sense of belonging that unite our community. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to each of the students who were baptised and keep them in our prayers as they continue to grow in faith and confidence.

Our recent Careers Breakfast was a huge hit, with students gaining valuable insights and inspiration from a wide range of experiences and career journeys.

A heartfelt thank you to all of the Parents, Caregivers, Friends, and Industry Professionals who generously gave their time to speak with our students and help broaden their understanding of the many pathways available beyond school.

We would also like to thank our wonderful Head of Future Pathways, Ms Helen Clapham-Burns, for bringing the morning together so seamlessly and creating such a meaningful opportunity for our students.

Thank You, St John's

Yesterday, our community came together in an extraordinary way for Giving Day, and because of your generosity, we achieved our fundraising goal.

To every family, staff member, Old Collegian, volunteer, match donor and supporter who answered the call, made a donation, shared our message or cheered us on, thank you. Your support will help bring Stage Two of our Aquatic Precinct project to life, creating opportunities for generations of St John's students to learn, grow and thrive.

While Giving Day may be over, donations will remain open for a few more days for those who would still like to contribute to this important project.

From all of us at St John's, thank you for showing what is possible when a community comes together with a shared vision.

Every donation brought us here. Together, we're building something extraordinary.
