What is a Montessori Prepared Environment? 🌿
In Montessori education, the Prepared Environment is much more than a classroom. It is a thoughtfully designed environment that has been intentionally prepared to meet children’s developmental needs and encourage them to become increasingly independent learners.
Everything has a purpose, from the way materials are arranged and made accessible, to the order of the space and the opportunities children have to make choices, concentrate and work at their own pace.
A Prepared Environment helps children to:

Our 22-hectare natural campus becomes an important part of the learning environment. Providing space to observe nature, care for the land, work collaboratively, explore, take considered risks and discover the world around them.
