I had the pleasure of hosting my beautiful friend and her family of four in my studio last week! We made beautiful winged creatures out of all kinds of materials. T'was a delight! I don't have photos as I forgot to take some, but it gave me the idea to also re-create this in class earlier this week. 🎨✨🙌 Also, so glad to know that I make the best breakfast according to Ethan 🥲🥹☺️ Hehe!

In the older kids class we returned to the fundamentals of painting in oils by learning about the value scale and creating our own. From this value scale, it helps to build form and shape which helps to build a sphere (3D form) by using the value scale as a reference. How amazing is my student Annie who created this! 🥹🥰😁

In the older kids class this week we spent time in the studio learning about oil painting and creating a still life study of a capsicum! 🍅 (aptly named a 'nervous capsicum' because of the way it was sweating under the lights haha) 😂

Annie did such a fantastic job capturing the likeness and vibrancy of the capsicum 😍🙏🏼
