A couple of weeks ago, we said a very bittersweet goodbye to our beautiful Jess as she headed off to start her next adventure in Queensland 🏝

Jess has been such a valued part of our Lakeshore family, bringing so much care, kindness and laughter to our centre. We're so grateful for all the memories she's made with our children, families and team 🩷

We miss having you around Lakeshore, Jess, but we're so excited for everything this next chapter has in store for you!

STATE OF ORIGIN —- Juniors Vs Preschool ❤️

Today we had a nutritious lunch of chicken noodle soup 🍲 💪, before heading off on a leisurely walk to FORBES RUGBY OVAL 🏉

The children engaged in Football drills and warm ups, utilising many fundamental movement skills🥰

The children then engaged in a friendly touch footy 🏉 match together ❤️

Nursery One Babes came along for the walk to be the Cheer Squad 🥰

Lakeshore looks forward to planning many more incursions/ excursions for engagement and Interactions within the FORBES COMMUNITY ❤️

🌿 What’s Been Happening in Donna’s World? 👩‍🍳💚

It’s been a busy few weeks in our kitchen and garden, with plenty of hands-on learning along the way!

🥕 Harvesting Our Veggie Garden
Our children have been busy harvesting fresh produce from our veggie garden, and the best part is seeing it used in the delicious meals prepared by our kitchen team.

👩‍🍳 MasterChef Program
Our little chefs have been developing valuable life skills by practising safe peeling and cutting techniques before putting their skills to the test baking delicious homemade scones.

🍎 Trying New Foods
We’re encouraging our children to become adventurous eaters by exploring a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. Recently we’ve been tasting papaya, tropical fruits and even Brussels sprouts, giving children the opportunity to discover new flavours, textures and learn more about where food comes from.

🍽️ Fresh From Our Kitchen
We’re also sharing a few of the delicious, nutritious meals our children have been enjoying. We love creating healthy, home-style meals that fuel growing bodies and minds.
