And a very special CONGRATULATIONS to the Forbes U14s Rugby Union team on their Grand Final win last weekend! 🏆🏉 💙🤍

This weekend is particularly special for our St Laurence’s community, with so many connections to these teams through current students, parents, staff, ex-students and family members. We love seeing our school community represented across our local sporting teams and we’ll be proudly cheering you all on! 🙌

💙❤️ REMINDER – FATHER’S DAY STALL TOMORROW! ❤️💙

Don’t forget to send your child to school with their money in an envelope tomorrow for our Father’s Day Stall! 🎁

Students will have the chance to choose a special gift for their Dad, Pop, Step-Dad or someone special. Please have a chat with your child about who they would like to buy for and how much they have to spend. 💙

If you would prefer your child not to purchase a gift, that’s absolutely fine! Mrs Anne-Maree Dwyer has prepared a little gift for each father or father-figure for your child to bring home. ❤️

We can’t wait to see all the thoughtful gifts chosen tomorrow! 🎁💙❤️

🌟 Tournament of the Minds 🌟

What an amazing day for our three teams: Tomtastic Rascals, The Couch Potatoes and The Airwaves! 👏

The children tackled some incredibly difficult challenges and presented their solutions with creativity, bravery and determination. Answering questions from a panel of judges was no easy task, but oh my gosh, these children were articulate, confident and incredibly persuasive! 🌟

The Couch Potatoes :1st Place and off to the State Competition! 🥇
The Airwaves: Honours, 2nd Place in Language & Literature! 🥈

We are incredibly proud of all three teams and Mrs Eijkman, who provided the platform for these wonderful children to launch 🚀 . You were all amazing! 💙 ❤️

A huge congratulations to Saige and Zola, who have proudly represented Polding at the 3-day PSSA Touch Football Championships in Coffs Harbour this week! 👏🌟

Both girls have done an amazing job representing their team, school and the Wilcannia-Forbes Diocese on the state stage. We are incredibly proud of their commitment, sportsmanship and effort throughout the championships.

A special congratulations to Zola, who was named Players’ Player for Polding! 🏆👏 What a fantastic achievement and a wonderful recognition from her teammates.

Well done, Saige and Zola! We are so proud of you both! ❤️💙
