Undercurrent Victoria We're a volunteer organisation focused on building healthy relationships and challenging violence, through educational workshops and community discussions.

We are a non-profit organisation focused on building healthy relationships and challenging violence, with a focus on violence against women and sexual assault. We run engaging, discussion-based workshops with high schools, community groups, universities and organisations. Based in the western suburbs of Melbourne, Undercurrent is a diverse and experienced team of volunteers who develop and deliver

a comprehensive program of workshops around issues of healthy relationships, domestic violence and sexual assault, gender and sexuality, and consent and communication. Our projects are informed by a feminist philosophy, and they aim to support people who have experienced or are experiencing violence, to challenge attitudes towards women in society, and to promote positive and non-violent relationships in the community. In the past we have also been involved in initiatives to develop and operate community-based response processes to domestic and sexual violence, using restorative and transformative justice frameworks as an alternative to the criminal justice and prison systems.
