Year 3/4 had a wonderful time learning about probability and chance through games, hands-on activities and projects. Students made predictions, tested their ideas and explored different possible outcomes as likely, unlikely, certain and impossible.
It was fantastic to see everyone engaged, working together and enjoying mathematics through practical learning experiences!

As part of our Inquiry focus, Our Place in the World, the 3/4s have been learning about the Kulin Seasons. Since we live in Melbourne/Naarm, which is part of the Kulin Nation, each of the three classes worked in groups to create posters for the Kulin seasons, exploring the connection between the seasons and the land, native animals and plants, weather patterns, and sky.

Our Year 1/2 students are diving into the exciting world of geometry by exploring angles! We have been making, drawing, and hunting for them all around the school.
Families, we need your help! Keep an eye out at home or on your weekend walks. If you spot a quarter turn, half turn, three-quarter turn, or a full turn angle (un quarto di giro, mezzo giro, tre quarti di giro ed un giro completo), let us know!
