Our Book Fair starts tomorrow!

We invite our families and wider Flowerdale community to come along and browse a wonderful variety of books available to purchase.

🏀 What a Fantastic Day at Hoop Time! 🏀

Our Years 3–6 students had an amazing day representing Flowerdale Primary School at today's Hoop Time competition.

Throughout the day, our students demonstrated outstanding teamwork, resilience, encouragement and sportsmanship. We are incredibly proud of the way they supported one another, displayed our Flowerdale values and represented our school with pride both on and off the court.

A huge thank you to our teachers Mrs Mercuri and Mrs Mcdonald, for supporting the team throughout the day and ensuring our students had such a positive experience.

Thank you also to our families for your ongoing support and encouragement.

Flowerdale Primary School will be holding a Book Fair on Tuesday 25, Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 August.

Families are invited to visit the school and purchase from a wonderful variety of books during the following times:

Morning: 8:30 am–8:50 am
Afternoon: 3:00 pm–3:30 pm

We look forward to welcoming families and sharing our love of books and reading!

Last Friday, our Foundation students alongside the grade 1 friends celebrated 100 Days of School with our special theme, “100 Days of Blossoming.” Students enjoyed dressing up, completing fun activities and sharing the celebration with their families and friends. It was a wonderful opportunity to recognise just how much our youngest learners have grown, learned and blossomed during their first 100 days of school. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so memorable!

Our Community Tree Planting Day, held on Friday 24 July, was a wonderful success and a fantastic example of community coming together to support our students and the environment.

A sincere thank you to Flowerdale Landcare, Murrindindi Shire Council, Goulburn Broken CMA, our staff, students, families and volunteers who gave their time, knowledge and enthusiasm to make the day such a memorable experience. Our students represented Flowerdale Primary School with pride, demonstrating our school values of Respect, Kindness, Integrity and Empathy throughout the day.

We are also excited to share that the event was featured in the Yea Chronicle, helping showcase the wonderful things happening at Flowerdale Primary School and the strong partnerships we have within our community.

Please see the attached newspaper snippet and a selection of photos from the day. We will also print and display the photos in the school office area so families and visitors can enjoy them.
