We learnt invaluable information about how one of the most successful NGO's uphold their social sustainability goals and the ways in which we can apply similar strategies to our own initiatives. This week we officially launched our F1 in Schools Mentorship Initiative. Team Innovation are working to grow the F1 in Schools competition within the ACT region by introducing students to a streamlined version of the competition. David and Kyle gave a presentation on the basic physics concepts relevant to car performance and helped Year 8 Students build their very own cars to be raced in a tournament in the coming weeks.
Through this initiative we hope to pass on our passion for STEM and grow the competition as a whole.
It's official, we are team number 61 at the 2023 World Final! We're looking forward to seeing everyone in Singapore - only 57 days to go!
Fun Fact: The first Singapore Grand Prix had 61 laps!
