📚✨ THE BEST DAY AT DMPS! ✨📚

What a magical Book Week at Debney Meadows Primary School! 💛

Our Book Week Parade was the best we’ve ever had! The creativity, imagination and effort from our students was absolutely incredible. Seeing them proudly show off their costumes and celebrate their favourite books made the day so special. 📖🌟

A huge thank you to our wonderful DMPS community for coming along and joining in the fun. Your support and enthusiasm made the parade even more memorable.

And to our amazing students — well done! You absolutely embraced the spirit of Book Week and looked fantastic! 👏📚

A very special thank you to our wonderful staff, who always go above and beyond to create these special moments for our students. ❤️

And finally, a HUGE shout-out to Susan for all her incredible organisation, planning and attention to detail. Your hard work brought everything together and made this such a memorable Book Week for our whole school community. 🌟

Our Grade 5/6 students had a fantastic time competing in a friendly netball tournament at the State Netball Centre! Students demonstrated teamwork, resilience, and a positive attitude throughout the day. It was a great opportunity to develop their skills, build confidence, and enjoy the spirit of friendly competition.

🌟 First Steps | SWPBS in Action! 🌟

Our First Steps students were focusing on one of our SWPBS expectations today:

🙌 I keep my hands, feet and objects to myself.

Our little learners did a wonderful job demonstrating this expectation and were rewarded with Tokens for displaying our school expectations! 🪙💙

We love seeing our youngest students learning, practising and celebrating positive behaviours! 🌟

Last week during Golden Time, our Year 3/4 students went to the new playground to celebrate earning their whole cohort token reward. This reward recognises the fantastic teamwork, positive behaviour and effort the students have shown ✨🛝

Our Year 1–2 students are getting ready for a magical morning as we celebrate the end of our Literacy Unit! 📚✨

Students are invited to come dressed as their favourite fairy tale or storybook character and will have the opportunity to take a seat in our special Storyteller’s Chair to share their very own fairy tales with friends and families. 🌟

All families are welcome to come along and celebrate our wonderful young authors and storytellers! 💫

We can’t wait to see our Year 1–2 students bring their stories to life! 📚🏰✨
