Another fantastic development tournament for our Intermediate and Grassroots Sparring & Poomsae Squads, providing valuable mat time and competition experience. A special welcome as well to our new squad families joining us on this journey.

The team delivered some outstanding results, but more importantly, gained valuable lessons and experience that will help us continue to grow and improve.

⭐️ X Championships Melbourne 2026 ⭐️

A huge congratulations to our small but fiery team of sparring grassroots & development athletes who travelled to Melbourne this weekend to compete at the very first X Championships!

What an incredible event setup, with plenty of mat time, valuable experience, and medals that looked like ninja stars!!!!
(Although getting them through airport customs was a challenge on its own 😅)

With so many match opportunities across the weekend, our athletes gained important lessons, confidence, and unforgettable memories on the mats.

✅ ANZAC DAY TRADING HOURS NOTICE

Please note that we will remain OPEN this Saturday during ANZAC Day at our usual training times.

However, the academy will be closed on Monday, 27 April 2026 for the ANZAC Day public holiday. All classes will resume as normal on Tuesday, 28 April 2026.

If you are a Monday regular, please do a make up lesson during the week.

Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing you at training.

A strong and successful weekend on the mats at the South Coast Open.

Our team—made up of many first-time competitors and grassroots athletes—stepped up and learned so much. (New squad parents included)
The experience gained this weekend was invaluable, and it was great to see everyone embracing the challenge and enjoying the process.

A big thank you to Master and the team at for hosting such a well-run and welcoming event. It’s always a fantastic competition for athletes of all levels to develop and grow.

Massive appreciation to our staff — Coach Alex, Coach Ruslan (Sparring Coaches) and Eva (Poomsae Assistant) for guiding and supporting our athletes throughout the weekend.
