Fitzroy Painting

Fitzroy Painting An independent Art School. Art classes and workshops for all levels, run by professional artists in the heart of Brunswick Street, Fitzroy.

Beginners:

This oil painting class is designed for the complete beginner, and through a series of exercises and examples the student learns the fundamentals of painting, including choice of mediums and materials, preparing to paint, basic colour theory, and composition. We have two specifically designed four-week courses to enable the student to confidently continue painting at home, Beginners Level 1 and 2. Intermediate and advanced:

This class is offered to beginners who wish to continue after completing beginners course, or those with some prior painting experience. Students work on a mixture of set projects and their own interests, and are encouraged to develop their own language and direction. All students continue to receive one-on-one teaching.
