At this point it wouldn’t be an EDS Concert without some kind of giant inflatable chaos running around the studio.
This year’s special guest? A very fabulous giraffe who loves to dance.
Now the real question is… can you guess which concert this lovely giraffe will be appearing in?
AND most importantly… what name shall we give her?
Drop your concert guesses and giraffe name ideas in the comments below.
Elevation Dance Studios
Elevation Dance Studios is a recreational dance school in Brunswick, offering classes in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Acrobatics, Hip Hop and Tap.
Elevation dance studios was established to provide movers of all ages with an encouraging environment to explore, grow, develop and relish in the wonderful world of dance. We offer classes in Contemporary, Classical ballet, Jazz, Musical Theatre, and Acrobatics. Our Principal, Alex Andrews has had over 15yrs of experience teaching and choreographing students of all ages. Alex would love to share her passion for dance and welcome you to join our community at Elevation Dance Studios.
Last night our EDS students had the incredible opportunity to participate in a Sydney Dance Company Contemporary Workshop, learning repertoire from Love Lock choreographed by Melanie Lane.
Fast paced, high energy and full of detail, the workshop challenged our dancers while giving them insight into the choreographic task work used to create the work.
These experiences are what make training at EDS so special. We’re passionate about providing opportunities that inspire, challenge and extend our students beyond the studio.

Week 5 = MYS dances are nearly complete!
Now it’s time to CLEAN, polish and focus on performance skills 🧼🧹🫧
Let’s go!
As we prepare for our Mid Year Showcase, we’ve been focusing on our Show & Shares so students can continue building their performance skills and spatial awareness — two important parts of feeling confident on stage.
It’s been great watching everyone grow in confidence and become more comfortable performing in front of others. We can’t wait to see them take the stage at our showcase.
Mid Year Showcase coming soon. Stay tuned.
There is something special about our Commercial dance classes. At EDS, we love watching our dancers step into that confidence, taking risks, backing themselves, and discovering what makes them unique as performers.
Commercial dance has a way of bringing that out in our students, and it’s always inspiring to see.
It’s that time of the year again… the Senior Concert guessing competition is back.
What do you think this year’s Senior Concert (Concert B) theme will be?
We love seeing the creativity and ideas from our dancers and community, so get involved. Leave your guesses in the comments or jot your ideas down on the notice board at the studio.
We cannot wait to see what you come up with.
Get your guesses in and join the fun.
We have hit the ground running as we prepare for our MYS on June 21st.
While the performance is always a highlight, our focus is on the process and celebrating the achievements along the way. Each week, our dancers are building skills, growing in confidence, and developing as artists. Just as importantly, they are learning the value of teamwork and enjoying the experience of working together.
The journey to the stage is just as significant as the performance itself, and we are proud of the dedication and progress we are seeing across all groups. Here we have our Pre Senior Jazz during rehearsal.
Follow along as we continue to share this journey and celebrate the work happening in the studio.
