And just like that, tomorrow Sunday 28 February is the final market in our Melbourne summer series! What a month it has been. By tomorrow, over 100 different makers would have traded and we're all so grateful for each and every market visitor.

And tomorrow we might finally get some sunshine 🙂🌻

The Makers and Shakers Community market is on the grounds of Fitzroy North Primary School (opposite Edinburgh Gardens), from 9am-2pm and entry is $2.

Our Fitzroy North Community Market x The Makers And Shakers Community Market is back again tomorrow. This time around we have our own FNPS stalls and we bring out our own specialities - Egg & Bacon, Drinks, our famous Raffles, cute FNPS Aprons, environmental friendly Bee wrappys and fun, fun, fun Choc Toss stalls that you don’t want to miss. (It’ll bring back your childhood memory or for newbies, it’s time to create one!). Just some heads up, it is cash-only transactions at all of our FNPS stalls. All the other market stalls accept Cards (and Cash).
All our stalls are volunteer-run by parents. Even though we are known by our Fete but we miss one last year so be gentle, be kind and we are grateful for your support.
Payment Option: Cards (and Cash) accepted but bring cash $$$ (for emergency).

ENTRY: $2/person (The door is run by the school and 100% of funds will go towards school activities).

Getting Here: There’s plenty of parking options but on Sunday can be a bit busy so walk, bike, scoot, skate, rollers or catch Tram 11 or Tram 96 which run close by.

There will be socially distanced seating but you can also head to the park to enjoy your goodies (pass outs are available at the exit).

The market is on every Sunday in February (that's 7, 14, 21 and 28 February 2021) and one thing will be consistent: it's a delightful way to spend a Sunday morning!

MELBOURNE // It is very sad to have to announce that based on the 'Circuit Breaker Action restrictions' that have just been announced by the Victorian Government for the next five days, we are not permitted to proceed with the market this Sunday 14 February.

The makers have all been preparing so hard for this weekend, and for us, the organisers, this market series has taken months of planning so we are very disappointed. One of the main reasons we organised this series of events was to claw back some of the devastation inflicted by COVID in 2020. To have it surface again feels terribly unfair, but we can't control it, so we just have to do our best and support one another as best we can.

At this stage, we are assuming that we'll be able to operate the 21 and 28 February markets (subject to the health advice and any further announcements). Let's hope 5 days is all it takes.
