Bayulu Remote Community School Bayulu School is located on Gooniyandi Country in the Fitzroy Valley, part of WA's stunning Kimberley

Bayulu Remote Community School is situated on Gogo Station, approximately 2700 kilometres north east of Perth, just off the Great Northern Highway. The nearest town is Fitzroy Crossing (16km) with Derby (270km) and Broome (410km) being the closest main centres. It is located in the Kimberley District and is within driving distance of several popular tourist sights. Our school caters for 100 students, from Kindergarten to Year 6.

A big thank you to the Nindilingarri Cultural Health Services team for visiting us today and providing our high school students with valuable education and information about FASD.

The students will be getting creative and designing a banner to help raise awareness in our community. Keep an eye out for their finished creation at the FASD March in a couple of weeks!

Another great day of sport at BRCS, with our Year 4–6 students heading into town to compete in the Cowboy Cup!

FX VALLEY PRIMARY SCHOOL CHAMPIONS

What an incredible Day 2 at the Interschool Carnival, with BRCS taking out the Primary School Champions title yesterday.

A huge congratulations to Zipporah, Zequarn, Harmony and Zyndasia, who were all named Champion in their age groups, and to Joel, who was awarded Runner-Up Champion. An amazing achievement!

It was also fantastic to see the teamwork and skills shown by all our students during the team games, and cheering on from the bays. Everyone represented BRCS with pride and gave it their best throughout the day.

A big thank you again to Mr Wilfred for being behind the camera and capturing all the action!

Thank you to Fitzroy Valley District High School for organising and running another fantastic Interschool Carnival. We appreciate all the work that goes on behind the scenes to make these days possible.

💜 INTERSCHOOL CARNIVAL – DAY 1 💜

What a fantastic effort from all our students who represented BRCS at the Town Oval today!

Multiple records were broken, with Harmony taking out the Upper Primary High Jump record and Zyndasia setting new Lower Secondary records in both the 800m and Shot Put. An incredible achievement!

A big thank you to Mr Wilfred for being our official photographer for the day.

Tomorrow, all students from Years 1–8 will head into town for Day 2 of the carnival. The first race starts at 9:00am, so please make sure students are on the first bus.

We can’t wait to hear you cheering loud and proud for BRCS tomorrow! 💜
