What a fantastic Term 2 for our primary sporting teams!🏆

From knockout sport competitions to SAPSASA selections, our students showed amazing teamwork and played hard! Congratulations to our boys soccer team for advancing to Round 2, our girls basketball team for winning 4 out of their 5 games, our boys basketball team for taking out the win, and all our AFL, netball and soccer players for their efforts.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Mrs Moira Stevens over the past weekend.

Moira was a dedicated, patient, and highly respected educator who devoted her teaching career to Catholic Education in South Australia. As one of Nazareth’s longest serving teachers, Moira taught at both Siena College and Nazareth Catholic College over the past 24 years, where she shaped the lives of students and colleagues alike.

Moira’s unwavering commitment to the values of Catholic Education and her profound impact on our community will forever be remembered. Her legacy is one of service, inspiration, and enduring kindness.

As we remember Moira with deep respect and much affection, we extend our prayers to her family and all those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.

A taste of culture! 🌏

To celebrate their learning at the end of last term, our Year 7 Japanese and Year 9 Italian students enjoyed a variety of cultural food and art experiences. Year 7 Japanese students put their creativity to work by making origami cranes and colouring Pikachu artworks, while our Year 9 Italian students got hands-on in the kitchen, creating some delicious Italian treats! 🎨🍝

🏆 Congratulations to Amelia, Grace and Joaquin on winning the Flinders Law Moot Competition!

Competing in a simulated Supreme Court appeal, the team demonstrated exceptional determination, courage and legal skill across four challenging rounds. They expertly argued both Appellant and Respondent cases, responding confidently to tough questions from Law School Professors acting as judges.

After defeating teams from University Senior College and Underdale High in the preliminary rounds, the team went on to overcome Prince Alfred College in the semi-final and Underdale High in the grand final.

An outstanding achievement. Well done! 👏⚖️

Last term, the stage came alive with energy, creativity and incredible musical talent as schools came together for an unforgettable Battle of the Bands. From powerful vocals to impressive musicianship, every band brought something unique to the stage and gave it their all.

A huge thank you to our wonderful judges, Jess Joyce, Peter Kostiw and Mia Neale for sharing their time, expertise, and encouragement with our performers.

What an incredible week on the Gold Coast! 🏐✨

Two of our outstanding netball teams proudly represented Nazareth at the International Netball Festival, enjoying a week filled with fast-paced competition, team bonding, new friendships and unforgettable memories.

A huge congratulations to all players and coaches for showcasing exceptional skill, teamwork and sportsmanship on the international stage. We are so proud of the way our students represented Nazareth throughout the tournament.

A little bit of the Hundred Acre Wood arrived at Findon last week! 🍯🌳

Our Reception students celebrated their 100th official day of school with a Hundred Acre Wood themed adventure, dressing up as their favourite Winnie the Pooh characters. The day was filled with fun, friendship and plenty of smiles as they marked this special milestone together. 💛
