Interested in game design, 3D modelling, animation or digital media? We’ve added another opportunity for students to experience our Certificate III in Screen & Media – Game Art Design pathway at Findon High School.

👥 Open to Year 10 & 11 students

Students will get hands-on with the skills used to create digital worlds for games, including concept art, 3D modelling, texturing, animation, lighting, interactive environments and more.

The session is also a great opportunity for students considering the course to gain VETRO evidence for enrolment.

Skills for the Hospitality Industry!

Our students have been building valuable, industry-ready skills by undertaking their Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) course.

As part of the experience, students put their hospitality skills into action by getting behind the bar and creating a range of colourful and creative mocktails! 🍓🍋‍🟩🍊

It was a great opportunity to combine practical learning with important knowledge about responsible service, while developing skills that can support future employment in the hospitality industry.

Exploring STEM Futures!

Our Year 10 students recently visited the University of Adelaide to explore the exciting range of pathways and possibilities available in STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

Students had the opportunity to experience university life, discover where STEM subjects can lead, and learn more about the study and career pathways available beyond school.

A fantastic opportunity to spark curiosity, broaden horizons and get our students thinking about where their interests could take them in the future! 🌟

Throughout Term 3, our Middle School girls have been hitting the trails as part of the Mountain Bike Program!

Across the program, they’ve developed their bike handling, balance and trail riding skills, while building confidence, resilience and the courage to give new challenges a go. It’s been wonderful to see them encourage one another and celebrate each other’s progress.

A big thank you to Bikes SA for creating such a supportive and enjoyable experience for our students!

That’s a wrap on Term 3!

Our whole-school scavenger hunt was the perfect way to finish the term, plenty of challenges, plenty of laughs and some serious competition between Blight, Hoffmann and Flynn!

A huge congratulations to Hoffmann House, who came out on top and were crowned the winners of today’s scavenger hunt!

Most importantly, it was an afternoon that brought our school community together.

A massive thank you to our Student Leadership Team for the creativity, organisation and leadership that went into making the event happen, and to everyone who got involved and made it such a fun way to end the term.

Challenge accepted!

The challenges kept coming during our end-of-term whole-school scavenger hunt!

Teams from Blight, Hoffmann and Flynn raced around the school, working together to complete activities, crack clues and earn points for their house.

It was fantastic to see students from across year levels getting involved, encouraging one another and embracing a bit of friendly house competition! 💜

All designed, organised and led by our brilliant Student Leadership Team.
