What we do - we have 3 different programs.

1. IntroBots - we introduce the children to basic programming and coding skills through play with LEGO®. They build LEGO® models and then make them move and make sounds through programming. Students gain understanding in using technology as a tool as well as the forces and systems used to set their models in motion. Each build is designed to be completed in a single lesson.

2. Droid Engineers - the children use more advanced LEGO® kits to build more complex creations and programming. Expands on the ideas and concepts introduced in the introductory course. Students will continue exploring systems found in the real world with more complex builds incorporating multi lesson builds.

3. Starting from Scratch - Introduction to computer programming using the Scratch technology. Students will learn to develop computer programs incorporating mixed media such as sounds, graphics and computer code. Providing a foundation in computer programming concepts students will learn to create cartoon animations, interactive stories and simple games.

Cost - the cost is a fee of $150 for a whole term per student consisting of 1 x 1hour lesson per week.

Available Classes - The first classes we are filling are Monday 4:30 - 5:30 and Wednesday 4:30 - 5:30. As these classes start to fill more times/days will become available.
