🌈 Coloured Rice Day at Journey Early Learning Fernvale! 🌈

Yesterday, every room joined in the fun for our exciting **Coloured Rice Day**! Each learning space created its own unique coloured rice sensory experience, giving the children plenty of opportunities to explore, imagine, and create.

From scooping and pouring to mixing colours and making wonderfully messy creations, there were smiles, laughter and lots of hands-on learning throughout the day! 💛💙❤️💚💜
Safe to say... it was a colourful, messy and absolutely unforgettable day! 🌈✨

Our Kindy children had a wonderful day exploring the citrus family! 🍋🍊 They discovered different fruits through hands-on sensory play, squeezing, smelling, tasting and investigating lemons, oranges, limes and more. 🍋 Kindy's Lemonade Adventure! 🍋

Our Kindy children were so excited to harvest the very first lemons from the lemon tree they have been caring for in our community garden! 🌱

They enjoyed squeezing lemons, tasting the fresh juice (with lots of funny sour faces! 😆), and creating their very own lemonade stand complete with handmade signs and posters. It was a fantastic way to explore gardening, teamwork, creativity, and early literacy while having so much fun together!
