St John the Baptist was privileged to host the MACS Board of Directors for their Annual General Meeting. The Board’s visit provided a wonderful opportunity to showcase the many qualities that make SJB a Catholic school of choice.
Our 2026 theme, “Empowered to Thrive,” reflects our commitment to nurturing confident, capable learners grounded in faith. We hope the MACS Board experienced this theme in action throughout their time with us.

Stepping into leadership in style 💙✨
Our Year 6 leaders proudly led their first assembly for the year last week and received their commemorative jackets and badges. The excitement was real! We congratulate our students on the confident and respectful way they led the assembly and represented the SJB community.
A special congratulations to our Year 6 Captains who warmly welcomed the MACS Directors to SJB and opened the MACS Board of Directors AGM with Prayer and a Recognition of Country. We are so proud of the way our leaders are already shining this year. 🌟

A beautiful way to begin 2026 ✨
Yesterday we celebrated our first official school Mass of the year, gathering in prayer, gratitude and hope. As we embrace our theme Empowered to Thrive, we are reminded that each of us is called to grow, flourish and support one another throughout the year ahead.
We were also blessed to be led by Father Peter as we officially welcomed him into our school community.
Here’s to a year of faith, growth and thriving together 🌿💛

Our 2026 Preps had the most exciting moment the other week when they met their 2026 Year 6 buddies for the very first time! It was wonderful to see new friendships beginning to form as they chatted and started getting to know one another.
We can’t wait to watch these connections grow throughout next year! 🌟
