Located in Melbourne's outer eastern suburbs at the foot of Mount Dandenong, the College aims to "Keep God in learning while achieving educational excellence."
Heritage College Knox offers something special in the world of education, small classes, Christian based values and a structure that caters for every stage of our student development. History and Community
Heritage College Knox is an independent, Christian, Prep to Year 8, Year 9 available from 2023) Co-Educational school in Ferntree Gully, Victoria. Our college was established in 2010, and is on
e
of five successful and thriving Christadelphian Heritage Colleges in Australia, including Adelaide (1996), Lake Macquarie, NSW (1997), Sydney (1998) and Perth (2006). The Christadelphian community established these schools so children can learn in an environment that supports devotion to God and Biblical wisdom, while providing outstanding education for success in life, recognising Psalm 127:3:
“Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord.”
The Facebook Policy of Heritage College Melbourne will be found on our website. HERITAGE COLLEGE MELBOURNE encourages the development of our three fundamentals: Growth, Creativity and Community. GROWTH
As our students learn and challenge themselves, growth naturally follows in their academic knowledge and abilities. This gives them a great foundation for the opportunities that will open up to them wherever they go in the future. At Heritage College, growth also develops with each student’s appreciation and knowledge of the Bible, and seeing, recognising and valuing themselves as part of God’s creation. Students are motivated and guided to grow into
productive, honest, diligent and joyful members
of their community, now and in future years. CREATIVITY
Our students use their creativity to solve problems, discover new ideas, perform and express themselves. Heritage College’s picturesque setting,
beautiful outdoor space and bright classrooms create the perfect environment for inquisitive students to use their natural curiosity and creativity to learn and explore. Teachers encourage students to be creative in thinking, writing, speaking, art and musical performances. COMMUNITY
Heritage College students belong! We are a supportive, enthusiastic, strong and close-knit community. Our teachers work closely with each and every student in small classes and strive to meet each child’s learning needs. Classrooms are multi-year level, helping students of different ages and abilities to develop a strong sense of community in class and out in the playground. Teachers and families communicate frequently,
and there are many ways for families to get involved as vital members of the Heritage community.

STUDENT LIFE // Still smiling! 😁
Two weeks to go until the school holidays, and the smiles around campus are still going strong.
There’s a little tiredness setting in, but both students and staff are powering through the final stretch with great spirit and determination. Staff have the extra encouragement of being fuelled by amazing coffee ☕ from our Student Café to keep them going!
A great mix of focus, friendship, and anticipation as we head toward the break. 💙💛🩵

STUDENT LIFE // The G*T 💆🧠
Our senior students are set to take on the G*T, and we are so proud of the dedication and effort they have shown throughout their studies 👨🏼🎓👏.
The G*T (General Achievement Test) is a statewide assessment that measures students’ general knowledge and skills in areas such as writing, numeracy and reasoning, and plays an important role in supporting fair and accurate VCE results.
As they step into this important assessment, we encourage them to approach it with confidence and do their best on the day🩵💛.
We are behind you all the way 💙

CREATIVITY IN ACTION // Pursuits Program 🧩
This week in our Pursuits program, students continued to immerse themselves in hands-on Arts and Craft experiences, working with mosaics, wool, sensory toys and a variety of textiles.
Through each project, they were encouraged to think critically, solve problems and embrace creative challenges, exploring new techniques while bringing their ideas to life. It’s been wonderful to see their perseverance and imagination on display as they refine their skills and express their individuality. 🎨✨

LEARNING IN ACTION // Look How Far We’ve Come! ✏️
It was our Years 1–2 students turn to welcome their families in to celebrate their learning 🎉
From putting their maths skills to the test ➕➗, to sharing their cursive writing and reading, it was such a special time of connection. Students and their visitors also worked together on a fun crossword that covered all areas of the curriculum.
There were also some wonderful hands-on Humanities activities, with guests joining in to try chopsticks and origami alongside the students. Visitors even jumped into a game of chess and other favourite activities!
A lovely celebration of growth, confidence, and everything they’ve been working so hard on this year 🩵💙💛

PLAYGROUP // God Made Cows 🐮
A chilly morning didn’t stop the fun at Playgroup this week! ❄️🐄
We loved welcoming some new faces as our little ones explored God Made Cows through stories, songs, and hands-on creativity. The highlight? Creating and decorating their very own cows using bread and choc chips—almost too cute to eat!
A wonderful morning of learning, laughter, and discovering God’s wonderful creation 💙
