Weekend School for Arabic Language and Qura’an Recitation.
4-Hour classes, every Saturday from 18 October – 20 December For children from 4-8 years old. Venue: The classrooms and facilities of Damla College, 12 Karri Way, Perth WA 6148. By native Arabic speakers and professional tutors in Qura’n recitation in accordance with the narration of Hafs an Asim. Our significance:
• We are native Arabic
speakers who completed their higher education from Arab speaking universities in Jordan.
• A teacher has a vast experience of 10 years at the pre-primary level in Jordanian schools, with a degree in Sharia and primary certificate in Qura’an recitation in accordance with the narration of Hafs an Asim.
• Another teacher with face-to-face Quran recitation in accordance with the narration of Hafs an Asim, in addition to high degree from Amman University – Jordan
• A director of vast experience in school teaching with a university degree in linguistics as well as face-to-face Quran recitation in accordance with the narration of Hafs an Asim. Our Curriculum:
• Is developed by the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States www.abegs.org and aims at teaching Arabic for children who live in non-Arabic speaking environment.
• Is developed after hard efforts of research and discussions since 1980.
• Includes 14 levels. Each level has a teaching book and workbook.
• Is used in the Arab Gulf States (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain).
• Is comprehensive in covering the four language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
• Is integrated in a way that leads to mastering Arabic in line with school education (i.e. the enrolled child will have a good level of mastering Arabic Language after finishing the 12 levels of the curriculum).
• Is diversified in terms of the teaching methods with the reliance on group work, discussions, role playing, stories, cards and visual aids. Children will not get bored by classical teaching methods dominating the arena of Arabic Language teaching).
• Includes assessment procedures to monitor the development of learners. Tuition fee per student including textbook and workbook per student
