Hello Rainbow Hello Rainbow offers Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy & Physiotherapy for children in the Lake Macquarie & Newcastle regions.

Supporting children and families across Lake Macquarie and Newcastle with speech and occupational therapies. We are passionate about early childhood intervention. The early years of a child's life provide a critical window of opportunity for development and learning. By providing timely and appropriate support, early intervention can significantly improve outcomes for children and set them on a positive trajectory for their future development and educational success. Hello Rainbow is a neuro-affirming practice. Your child is a unique and wonderful little person. We currently offer speech and occupational therapies for children aged under 9. Our passionate therapists work with your child’s strengths, interests and abilities to build their confidence and help them reach their goals. Hello Rainbow provides a mobile service, enabling fun and creative therapy sessions in your home or educational setting.

No matter what comes her way, Jo is calm and able to find a way to make things work better..for her families, her team mates and her perpetually frazzled “boss”.
She’s never afraid to speak her mind, ask difficult questions or go to bat for the kids she supports.
She’s impossible to shut up, and we live for it. A year of Jo has been a year of utter joy, for us but more importantly, for the families she enjoys so much.
Thank you Jo, never ever change. 🌈

Another anniversary at Hello Rainbow and this time we're celebrating an entire year of the amazing Elly!
We've watched her build super strong connections with whole families while making therapy a joy for the children she sees week in and week out.
We've also been the beneficiaries of her flat out ridiculous organisational skills and some creative on the road noodle preparation hacks.

It’s International Women’s Day, but I’m keeping it local.

I’m incredibly lucky to work alongside a group of women who give so much of themselves to support the children and families we’ve come to know.

Sitting in my office listening to my team talk about a shared client—with such warmth and detailed knowledge of what they like, what challenges them, and that funny thing they said in session—is genuinely a bit awe-inspiring.

The women who surround and support hello rainbow families (and me) are nothing short of amazing. They’re all wonderfully different. Some have mouths like sailors, and some need me to swear for them. Some are directly challenging when faced with adversity, while others quietly and steadily work to create change. Some love a good cry, while others prefer to stay dry-eyed and smash a packet of sour lollies instead.

What they all have in common is an unwavering commitment to advocating for the kiddos they work with.

So to Cass, Clarissa, Elly, Emma, Finlay, Georgia, (another) Georgia, Jo, Kit, and Zoe—thank you. You make the world better… and a whole lot more interesting. 💜🌈
