Book Club Orders Close at 9am this Wednesday 26th August.

Book Club Issue 6 catalogues have arrived! Look out for your copy of the catalogue coming home in your child's schoolbag! It's packed with hundreds of books from just $3 to help you on your child's reading journey.

Did you know that every purchase you make on Book Club earns our school 15% of the order value in Scholastic Rewards? We use these to purchase more books and educational resources for the school. It all helps!

Orders can be placed online via the LOOP app or by enclosing correct money in a named envelope and returning this to the office.

All orders must be received by 9am next Wednesday 26th August.
Orders will be received in a few weeks and will be distributed to your child via the classroom.

📢 COMMUNITY NOTICE – DRONE TRAINING

Please be advised that Surf Life Saving Queensland will be using our school oval this weekend for drone training activities.

You may notice drones operating over the oval during this time. There is no cause for concern or alarm — this is a planned training activity being conducted by Surf Life Saving Queensland.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation while this important training takes place. 🛟🚁

Well done to all our athletes who competed at the Capricornia Athletics trials in Mackay! Some PBs and fantastic results all round. We are incredibly proud of your effort, determination and sportsmanship. ⭐

Beau - 1st 800m, 2nd 1500m - 2 x PB's
Isla - 4th long jump, 10th Discus
Zavier - 10th 1500m
Mackena - 3rd shot put
Ash - 7th 100m, 1st long jump
Ava - 2nd 800m, 1st 1500m
Bailey - 8th 800m, 10th 1500m
Lucy M - 8th 800m, 9th 1500m

Well done to Ben for competing in the Tetrathlon! 👏

Unfortunately, Indio and Jack were unwell and unable to compete on the day. We hope to see them back in action soon!

Congratulations to our Week 6 Learners of the Week!

At parade we also acknowledged our awesome Robotics team following their win at the State Robocup Junior Competition in Brisbane last weekend. A big thank you to Miss McKee and Miss Coucom for all your hard work with the Robotics program.
