A message from the principal

Hello community!

Yesterday we held our annual Farleigh State School Palm Fete.

The Palm Fete is a Farleigh community institution. A long standing and very important event for the Farleigh area and the single major fund raiser for the Farleigh State School P and C.

The P and C executive has been a mighty group from the time I arrived at the school in 2018. There have been changes over that time, however their steadfast dedication as a group of busy working parents has never wavered.

The amount of time, effort and dedication it takes to create this event is intimidating. These remarkable people expect no thanks or accolades.

Yet they deserve a parade.

This year, the P and C have informed me that our earnings from the 2026 Fete have far surpassed any previous takings.

In fact, it's shaping up to look like we have potentially doubled our intake.

On behalf of this wonderful community, to the small but mighty P and C, to the volunteers that make this possible each year, to the staff, sponsors and to the thousands of attendees on the day, I extend my humble gratitude.
