Did you know there are many health benefits to having indoor plants 🪴. We will touch on this along with many other interesting facts about recycling, sustainability & simply being a good citizen in the first of my Playful Planter Workshops. This session can booked as a one off or a series of 4 fun filled Workshops.

I have recently started my home education platform Seedbed with the aim to provide a wholesome, holisitic approach to education.

Whilst I believe all parents have the potential to be fantastic educators, I know from experience how overwhelming the education system and school curriculum can be. I am a qualified Primary School Teacher with a passion for creating strong, supportive communities where we can learn and support one another.

As such I would like to offer free Parent Information Sessions for support and guidance on how to navigate the school curriculum and address the requirements of homeschooling education. Along with tips and tricks on how to integrate your learning experiences to improve efficiency, reduce stress and inspire both parents and children to love the learning journey!

A little bit about me...
I am a mother of two who was in absolute awe watching my eldest learn and master new skills, I decided to go back and study teaching in between having my babies. I completed my Postgraduate Degree in Primary Education in 2017 and found so much joy and fulfilment in helping inspire our future generations love of learning.

Whilst I have the upmost respect for our education system, my teaching experiences over the last 4 years highlighted a lack of one-on-one time between teachers and students. Ultimately this restricted my ability to foster genuine connections and tailor learning experiences to each student as unique as themselves.

Growing up in a tiny town in the Wheatbelt ingrained in me an innate sense of community and belonging, which I have subconsciously been seeking throughout my life. Whilst I have certainly found this in my personal life, I feel compelled to apply the same passion to my work life. As such Seedbed, inspired by Reggio Emilia, has been designed to nurture your child's love of learning through student-led experiences (such as Project Based Learning), whilst also encouraging parent involvement to foster a holistic learning journey for the whole family.
