Today, our Year 6 students completed the 4km Zero2Hero Run. Every student participated, crossed the finish line, and exceeded their personal goals. We are incredibly proud of their determination, resilience, and positive attitude throughout the event.
A huge thank you to the Zero2Hero team for their energy, encouragement, and support in motivating our students to push themselves and achieve their best. What an amazing accomplishment by all involved! 🎉🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

🌟 A Big Thank You to Exmouth DHS P&C
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to our incredible P&C for their ongoing support and generosity. Thanks to their dedication, students and staff have already benefited from a range of valuable contributions in 2026, including:
📚 Audiobooks and furniture for the library
♟ Portable (walking-size) chess and checkers
📖 Secondary English resources
💻 iPads to support learning
🎨 Brand new drinking station featuring fantastic artwork
📦 Additional shelving for resources
☀️ New shade area between the Home Economics room and undercover area
In addition to these improvements, the P&C continues to provide outstanding service to our school community by:
📚 Running the Scholastic Book Club on behalf of the school
🥪 Supporting our Swimming Carnival with lunches (and we look forward to Athletics in June!)

🔌 Power Outage Reminder – Thursday 4 June
Just a reminder that Horizon Power has scheduled a town-wide power outage tomorrow (Thursday) from 8:00am to 12:00 noon.
✅ School will remain open and operating as normal, with some modified classroom activities during this time.
💧 Water supply will not be affected.
📞 School phones will be unavailable during the outage. If you need to contact the school urgently, please call 0436 927 901.
We appreciate your understanding while these important upgrades are completed.

As part of National Reconciliation Week and Sorry Day 2026, students gathered at the Sorry Day Yarning Area to listen to Miss Rhio share her family’s history and experiences connected to the Stolen Generations. Students had the opportunity to reflect, yarn, and decorate purple hibiscus flowers for our Sorry Day Wall Art Installation. The purple hibiscus is a symbol of healing, resilience, and reconciliation. Thank you to all students and staff who participated in this meaningful learning experience as we continue to walk together towards reconciliation. 🌺🖤💛❤️
