🔬🧪 Science Week at Milestones Everton Park! 🌈🚀

Last week we had lots of fun exploring Science Week! Our Senior Toddlers experimented with a colour-changing cabbage experiment, discovering how colours can change through science. 🌈🥬

We were also very lucky to have one of our amazing parents, who is a scientist, visit our Junior Kindy and Kindy children! 🧑‍🔬 The children learnt all about cells and had the opportunity to explore them through a microscope. 🔬 They also explored a solar system model, learning about the planets and our amazing universe. 🌎🪐✨

A huge thank you to our wonderful parent for sharing your knowledge and helping inspire our little scientists! 💕🔬

Today we’re wearing purple to stand together against bullying and show that kindness, inclusion and respect matter. 💜✨

Our children and educators are joining in to spread the message that there’s no place for bullying — everyone deserves to feel safe, valued and included. 🌈💜

🩺👩‍⚕️ A Visit from Nurse Maddy! 👨‍⚕️🩹

This week we were lucky enough to have Nurse Maddy visit Milestones! 💙

Nurse Maddy chatted with the children about what doctors and nurses do and gave them a special demonstration of some medical equipment. The children then put their new knowledge into action, taking on the roles of doctors and nurses in our very own Milestones Doctor Surgery! 🏥✨

A huge shout-out to Nurse Maddy for taking the time to come and share her knowledge with our children, and to Old Northern Road Medical Centre for kindly supplying medical equipment and supplies for our experience. 🩺💙

☀️ Sun Safe Starts Here! 🧴

Today, Jess and I headed out into our local community to spread a little fun! 💙

We dropped off some colouring-in activities to local cafés, medical centres and indoor play centres for children and families to enjoy.

We love finding little ways to brighten someone's day and stay connected with our amazing community! 🎨✨

Bike and Scooter Day is always a favourite! 🛴💙

There were smiles, laughs and plenty of fun as the children zoomed around the yard.
