A huge congratulations to Year 8 student Billy Edwards, who achieved an incredible four placings in the Intermediate 14–17 Years Photography Competition at the Gawler Show!

Billy received:
🥇 1st Place – Black & White
🥈 2nd Place – Animals
🥈 2nd Place – Sunset
🥉 3rd Place – Animals

What a fantastic achievement across a range of categories! Billy’s photography shows a great eye for capturing wildlife, light and those special moments behind the lens.

📚✨ WHAT A NOVEL WEEK AT GDC! ✨📚

Book Week was definitely one for the books, with our College bursting at the seams with characters! 📖💜

Our Junior School students turned the page on an amazing Book Week Parade, bringing some of their favourite stories to life with fantastic costumes, plenty of imagination and lots of smiles. We also announced our Book Week winners from each class — congratulations to all of our wonderfully creative readers! 🏆📚

The fun didn’t stop there! Our Secondary students got in on the action too, meeting at lunchtime for a special Book Week gathering and proving you’re never too old for a good story! 📕🎉

And of course, our staff were completely booked and busy getting into the spirit, with teachers from across the whole College joining in the fun. Some costumes were well-read, some were a little novel, and all were worth a chapter of their own! 😂📚

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make Book Week such a page-turning success.
