📚 Eumundi State School at the 2026 Eumundi Writers Festival 📚

On Saturday 4 September 2026, our School Captains were delighted to be invited to attend the 2026 Eumundi Writers Festival.

Our Captains had the wonderful opportunity to attend an interview with The Betoota Advocate featuring the Hon. Dr Kevin Rudd, former Prime Minister of Australia and a former Eumundi State School student.

At the conclusion of the session, our School Captains proudly presented Dr Rudd with a beautiful keepsake from our renowned Eumundi State School Environmental Centre - a beautiful bouquet, a native bee hotel and Eumundi SS Kitchen Garden herb salt. 🐝🌿

We are grateful to our School Captains and their families for giving up their Saturday to represent our wonderful school.

A very special thank you also to our Environmental Centre teacher, Ms Emma Heffernan, for organising the keepsake.

Finally, congratulations to the Eumundi Writers Festival on an amazing event celebrating writers, ideas, stories and our wonderful community. 📚✨
