📖 Book Week Dress Up -
On Friday, we had lots of fun dressing up as book characters; and we shared the fun with our preschool friends for their second transition visit. We participated in activities celebrating books and reading, with groups being treated by the musical talents of Mrs Welsh as she took them on a story-like adventure; engaged with technology with Ms D; challenged with book trivia with Mrs Doyle and mesmerised by Miss Ash checking the eggs that are incubating. Thank you to all family members who joined us; and to ECCC for another wonderful transition visit.

Our celebrations for Book Week were enhanced as each day students listened to a community member read a few pages from the book "Do not open this book" by Andy Lee. Students had to guess who the mystery readers were; and on Friday the videos of the readers were revealed. Thank you to all the wonderful people from our community who willingly (or were persuaded by Mrs Doyle!) read for us, and shared the joy of reading. It certainly was a highlight each day; and had children (and adults) wondering who the mystery readers were.

Yesterday students were greeted with a modified version of Guess Who. They were tasked with choosing which favourite book belonged to which staff member.
It proved to be quite an engaging challenge!
