ECCC Rebuild

What a major milestone... 🏡 We're moving into the foundation/slab stage, so the build is really starting to take shape.
The usual sequence is:
plumbing rough-ins go in, waffle pods are getting positioned, steel and penetrations are checked, the concrete slab is then poured and foundations are built.

Eugowra Community Children's Centre has commenced stage 1 of the new service, with the earthworks starting. The new service has been supported with funding from NSW State Government through the Capital Works Grant Program for the Preschool component of the service. The Long Day Care component has been supported with a sponsorship from Evolution Northparkes Mines, but the Long Day Care component is yet to be fully funded, and we are seeking support from businesses and the community through the Virtual Brick Fundraiser. The service has partnered with the Foundation for Rural Regional and Renewal organistation to implement the virtual brick fundraiser; donations are tax deductible.

ECCC has commenced construction of the new centre. Thanks to Evolution North Parkes Mines, NSW state Government for your support.

We are still yet to fully fund the Long Day Care component of the service. In partnership with FRRR we other option to support ECCC as they rebuild. Donations start from $100 and you will receive a paver to be laid at the service. We also have corporate and business option

This will be a amazing asset to the community of Eugowra

Royal Far West - Ride For Country Kids

It was amazing to welcome 64 riders from Royal Far West’s Ride for Country Kids 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️ to Eugowra Community Hall this afternoon, where they were greeted by children and educators from Eugowra Community Children’s Centre, Eugowra Public School, and St Joseph’s School Eugowra. I know personally that Royal Far West is building the capacity of Educators at the Eugowra Community Children’s Centre in the areas of occupational therapy, trauma support, and additional needs and is doing the same in schools right across Far West NSW❤️

Come along to cheer on our incredible riders as they set off on their journey in support of country kids and families accessing vital health and developmental services through Royal Far West. 💙

Royal Far West Ride For Country

Royal Far West’s Ride for Country Kids, officially starts at 7am on Sunday May 17 at Cookes Pavilion - 158-176 Clarinda Street, Parkes. All are welcome to cheer on the riders.

The riders will be arriving in Eugowra 19th May at approx 11.45 at the new Community Centre at the showground, all welcome to attend and welcome the riders.

Royal Far West’s Ride for Country Kids’ grand finale is being held from 2pm on Tuesday May 20 at Victoria Park, Forbes. All are welcome to meet the riders after they completed their 400km three-day ride! And, to donate, to support the riders.

The Ride will take 64 cyclists on a journey - starting in Parkes, and travelling through Manildra, Molong, Trundle, and Eugowra, before finishing in Forbes.

These towns hold a special place in Royal Far West’s history and future, supported by passionate people, local branches, and community hubs like the op-shops in Forbes and Trundle.

The ride aims to raise $500,000 to fund vital developmental and mental health services for country children and their families.
Royal Far West is currently working with these schools across the Central and Far West NSW region: Eugowra Community Children's Centre (childcare and preschool), Eugowra School, Forbes Public School, Holy Family Parkes, Manilda Public School, Middleton Public School, Molong Public School, St Joseph’s School, St Patrick’s School, St Laurence’s School, Trundle Catholic School and Trundle Central School.
