What would love do?

I made these little cards for my niece — each one hand-painted in watercolour, with a question on the back designed to open up a conversation, invite curiosity, and help us get to know the little people we love a little more deeply.

Because sometimes children are shy, and sometimes the most meaningful things are the things they don’t know how to say yet.

Each set is handmade and tied together with a ribbon, so you can simply flip through the cards, one conversation at a time.

Looking for a meaningful, personalised gift for a little one in your life?

I can create a customised set for your child, niece, nephew — or anyone you’d love to connect with more deeply.

Send me a message if you’d like one made.

Is this really all there is?

We spend so much of our lives moving through the visible world — work, relationships, responsibilities, goals, achievements.

But meditation opens a different doorway.

Beyond the noise of the mind.
Beyond the stories of the ego.
Beyond what we can see, hear, touch, taste and smell.

There is a subtle world.

A world of mystery, stillness and possibility.

We don’t meditate to escape this world. We meditate to become quiet enough to experience what lies beyond it.

The mantra becomes the broom.
The mind becomes still.
The emotional field clears.
The seeking becomes surrender.

And sometimes, in that stillness, something opens.

A corridor.

An invitation.

A moment where you experience the world beyond the world.

This is one of the deeper dimensions of Kundalini Yoga and meditation — and it is something you learn through practice, not simply through words.

The breath is more than something we do to stay alive. It can be a beautiful reflection of how we relate to life.

With the inhale, we expand. We move outward. We take in the world, step into possibility, adventure, risk and experience.

With the exhale, we turn inward. We release, soften and return to ourselves.

And then there is that moment of suspension between the inhale and exhale — the pause between moving out into the world and coming home to ourselves.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Lungs are closely connected with respiration, the skin and body’s boundaries, the nose and sinuses, and the emotion of grief and letting go. They can also be associated with things like nasal congestion, sinus issues, dry skin and our relationship with boundaries and the outside world.

This Saturday, we’ll explore the Lungs through the lens of TCM, breath, movement and Kundalini Yoga — and perhaps discover something about ourselves along the way.

We spend so much of our lives trying to avoid emptiness.

We fill it with relationships, work, achievement, food, busyness, distraction—even the constant need to be doing something.

But what if emptiness isn’t something to fear or immediately fill?

What if it is asking for our attention?

Life moves in polarities: love and loss, union and separation, joy and sorrow, fullness and emptiness. We cannot hold on to one without eventually meeting the other.

And perhaps, especially for women, the empty space can become a powerful place of creation.

Instead of asking, How do I get rid of this feeling?
What if we asked, What can I create from it?

What if the sorrow, loss and emptiness could become the raw material for something beautiful?

That is where pain can become power.

Boredom.
What if boredom isn’t a problem to solve...
What if it’s an invitation to meet yourself?

We spend so much of our lives chasing the next goal, the next notification, the next distraction. But when everything becomes quiet, many of us feel uncomfortable. We call that boredom.

Perhaps what we’re really feeling is the unfamiliar experience of simply being present with ourselves.
When we stop running and gather the scattered pieces of our attention, boredom can transform into clarity, creativity and peace.

Have you ever said, “Meditation isn’t for me. My mind is too busy. I can’t sit still.”?

You’re not alone. And the truth is—you don’t have to force yourself to meditate.

In the yogic tradition, meditation is something we prepare for.

When the body is restless and the mind is racing, it’s often a sign of excess energy that needs somewhere to go. That’s why yoga comes before meditation.

✨The 8 Limbs of Yoga begin with Yamas and Niyamas - moral principles of how to interact with the world and with yourself.

✨ Movement (Asana) helps release excess energy and prepares the body to become still.

✨ Breathwork (Pranayama) calms the nervous system, balances the left and right hemispheres of the brain, and shifts you from constant thinking into a state of presence.

Only then does meditation become natural—not something you struggle through.

If you’ve always thought meditation wasn’t for you, perhaps you’ve just been skipping the preparation.

I’d love to guide you through this process.
