Our patchwork group have been enjoying an in-house workshop on bag making over the last couple of weeks with their tutor Penny Howard. There are a couple more bags still to be finished, but these are the beautiful ones completed so far- by Diane, Christine, Marlene and Janette. What a wonderful job they have done creating such fabulous elegant looking bags!

Other members of the group - Gwynneth, Sarah and Norma are pictured pinning Norma's beautiful autumn toned quilt in preparation for quiting. We are all in awe of Norma's stitching accuracy.

Our Term 3 Jewellery Classes at Ettalong Beach Arts & Crafts Centre have kicked off with creativity, enthusiasm and plenty of inspiration!

Take a look at how our talented students have each added their own unique style and personal touches to this term’s flower design project. It’s amazing to see how one design can blossom into so many beautiful and individual creations.

A huge congratulations to Alison, one of our talented jewellery students at Ettalong Beach Arts & Crafts Centre, on holding her very first market stall at Olive Tree Market in Newcastle!

We absolutely love Alison’s unique jewellery designs and creative style, and it’s always a pleasure having her as part of our jewellery classes. We’re so proud to see her sharing her beautiful work with the wider community and wish her every success on this exciting journey.

Everyone at Ettalong Beach Arts & Crafts Centre (EBACC) would like to congratulate our talented watercolour tutor, Danni, on receiving an Honourable Mention in the Watercolour Golden Brush Awards in the Portrait category.

This is a fantastic achievement and a wonderful recognition of Danni’s artistic skill, creativity, and dedication to her craft. We are incredibly proud to have her as one of our tutors at EBACC.

Danni not only produces beautiful artwork but also inspires and encourages her students in every class. We regularly hear lovely feedback about her supportive teaching style and ability to help students develop their own artistic confidence.

Congratulations, Danni, on this well-deserved recognition. We look forward to seeing many more of your achievements and feel very fortunate to have you as part of the EBACC community.

In term 3 EBACC will be offering life drawing workshops with Amanda Brierley.
These 2.5 hour sessions on a weekend will include a life model with guidance and critique provided by Amanda. For artists of all levels, the cost per session is $40.

We welcome the lovely Jenny Young to EBACC as our new Drawing and Painting (art) tutor starting in term 3.

Jenny has taught art in adult education for over thirty years and is keen to help guide students through their creative process and bring out the artist's personal technique tbrough their work.
The Drawing and Painting class runs on Wednesday 12.30-3.30, starting on July 22nd. Suitable for beginners through to advanced students who would like to further their skills.

Learn how to make your own jewellery with our wonderful tutor Celeste Boonaerts. With over 25 years experience in jewellery making, Celeste will guide students of all skill levels through the process of creating jewellery pieces they can be proud of.
We have 3 class times to choose from all starting on Tuesday July 21st for term 3.

2.45pm -5.45pm
6pm - 9pm
