💛Today was our annual ‘Day in May’ where we come together, with a splash of yellow, to raise funds and awareness for childhood brain cancer research. This day is incredibly important to us at ENPS as we remember Marcus Rosin, former ENPS student who passed away from brain cancer in 2014. Marcus would have turned 21 this year and it was our honor to give Marcus’ mum, Marissa, a 21st key from us all at ENPS to celebrate his amazing legacy. 💛

2027 Foundation (prep) enrolments are now open. A reminder to current families to submit sibling enrolments too! Please contact the office if you have any questions.

ENPS News - Issue 7 Wominjeka everyone, and welcome to our second newsletter of the term. We are delighted to see everyone returning to school and we hope you have had a great couple of weeks! Here are some wonderful things that have been happening around the school during Weeks Three and Four. Firstly, the Year Sixes....

Today we celebrate Education Support (ES) appreciation day and we would be lost without our incredible ES team at ENPS! Thank you for everything you do from the office, library, classroom support, newsletters, grounds, first aid, technology and facilities! You are all amazing and give so very much to your roles and to our students and school. Thank you!!

What an incredible day for Essendon North Primary School! This morning, it was announced that ENPS will receive $24.005 million in the upcoming State Budget.

Our goal with this funding is to deliver upgrades to the Administration and main classroom wing, the development of a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) Precinct, (replacing the existing Visual and Performing Arts rooms), modernising the school and providing a learning environment that will benefit students for generations to come.

This enormous outcome reflects the strong advocacy and years of unwavering commitment from our remarkable school community. We are deeply grateful to our staff, School Council, families and the ENPS working group established to support this vision, whose dedicated efforts and lobbying of the State Government for upgraded school facilities helped make this investment possible.

We've all been absolutely buzzing at ENPS today, and can’t wait to share more about what this means for our school as details become available.

Amazing news for our ENPS Community!!

Essendon North Primary School will receive $24.005 million in the upcoming State Budget.

This is the largest investment in a primary school in the history of Essendon.

The project will result in an upgrade of the main classroom wing and a modernisation of the school, providing students with a better learning environment.

Special thanks to Kate Barletta and her leadership team, as well as School Council, for all their labours and endeavours to make this a reality!

A truly special morning attending the ANZAC Day Dawn Service together at the East Keilor RSL this morning. We are so proud to do this together each year as a school community. Thank you to all of the students, staff and families that joined, and to Georgia and Ethan, our 2026 School Captains, for laying the wreath on the school’s behalf. Lest we forget.
