Esk State School

Esk State School Esk State School located in the township of Esk in the Somerset Regional Council area. Esk is the hub of a chain of lakes and dams in the Upper Brisbane Valley.

Esk State School is located in the Brisbane Valley approximately 65 kilometres north of Ipswich and 100 kilometres north-west of Brisbane, the capital of Queensland. Our school is co-educational providing a well-balanced education for students from Prep to Year 7. Our teaching program is based on the Australian Curriculum. Our students enjoy an instrumental music program, senior choir and a junior

choir. Our music program also boasts a full class set of acoustic guitars. We welcome and encourage your involvement in the school. My staff and I look forward to an opportunity to work alongside you, our parents and caregivers, as together we prepare our students for the challenges of the future.

🎉 Congratulations to Our Sporting Superstars! 🎉

Following the Brisbane Valley Schools (BVS) Cluster Athletics Carnival, we are incredibly proud to announce that 33 students have been selected to represent our school at the Lockyer Zone Athletics Carnival!

This is an outstanding achievement for our small school, and we couldn't be prouder of every student who earned selection. 🌟

📄 Representative forms were sent home today. Unfortunately, the turnaround time is very tight, so we ask that all forms are returned by Thursday if possible (Friday at the absolute latest).

💳 Payments must also be made by Friday to secure your child's place and allow them to compete.

Congratulations again to all of our athletes—we can't wait to see you represent our school at Lockyer Zone! 💙💛

As Term 2 comes to a close, we would like to thank our students, staff, families and wider school community for a wonderful term of learning, growth, and achievement.

We are incredibly proud of all that has been accomplished and grateful for the support, teamwork, and positive spirit that makes Esk State School such a special place.

We wish everyone a safe, happy, and restful holiday break and look forward to welcoming our students back for Term 3 on Monday, 13 July 2026.
