Stage 3 Camp- Day 3 ⭐️🏕️ Update

Day 3 was our final day of camp, and we were all up bright and early this morning to pack our suitcases and clean our rooms before heading out for some fun on the river!

Students braved the cold water in canoes, completing a range of challenges, including standing up and switching boats. They even had a quick swim before heading back for morning tea.

After a well-deserved break, we headed over to the high ropes course, where all students bravely took on a sky-high obstacle course. They weaved their way through the ropes, jumped from swing to swing and finished with an exciting zipline ride back down to the bottom.

We then enjoyed lunch before packing our things onto the bus and making our way back to school, arriving just before the end of day bell.
We have had a fantastic two nights away filled with fun, challenges, laughter and plenty of memorable moments. We are definitely all ready for a very good night’s sleep this weekend!

Stage 3 Camp - EWPS Day 2⭐️🏕️

We rose bright and early after an okay night’s sleep to get ourselves fed and ready for archery. Everyone gave it their best shot, with six students hitting bullseyes!

After archery, it was time for the dual flying fox, where students paired up to zip line down the hill. We were incredibly proud of everyone for giving it a go and stepping outside their comfort zones!

From one thrill to another, we then headed over to the giant swing, where students were lifted high into the air before swinging backwards. There were plenty of nervous faces- and even more big smiles!

This afternoon, we learnt some valuable survival skills, working together to create both a fire and a shelter using sticks and branches found in the bush.

Tonight, we’re finishing the day with a campfire, marshmallows and a few night games.
We have an early start tomorrow, so we’re hoping for a good night’s sleep tonight!😴💤

Creative Arts 🎨

Students were inspired by the work of Piet Mondrian, 1/2L explored primary colours and abstract geometric patterns before transforming heart templates into vibrant, Mondrian-inspired artworks. ❤️💛💙

We loved seeing the creativity and individuality shine through in each unique design! ✨

Stage 3 Camp- Day 1! Update ⭐️

What an exciting first day at camp for Stage 3! We started with a smooth bus ride to camp before unpacking our sleeping bags and pillows and settling in.

We had a fantastic time orienteering, scavenging around the campsite to find clues and solve riddles.

Then came the highlight of the afternoon… fruit and snow cones! Definitely the best bit!

This afternoon, everyone had a turn on the Powerfan, climbing a 13-metre-high pole before taking the leap and jumping off! There were lots of nerves, excitement and very proud faces.
We’re finishing the day with a challenge night and a campfire before heading off for a well-earned sleep.

We’re all very ready for a good night’s rest so we can wake up fresh and ready for another adventure tomorrow!😴💤
