We cannot believe that we have finally come to the end of the year here at KCK. This week has been filled with thrilling activities and delightful moments, and we were lucky to welcome visitors from our community, featuring a puppet show, a Christmas performance, and a magic show. Let’s take a moment to reflect on the wonderful experiences shared by our friends and educators during their last week at KCK.

Congratulations to Sophie from Karalta Cottage Kindergarten for completing her School Based Traineeship (SBAT) in a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care!

We thank the team at Karalta and Diana Pursehouse from Erina High School for their support to help Sophie successfully complete her SBAT. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for Sophie!

Painting with toy cars 🚗 Painting is fun and can be a learning avenue for toddlers. During painting, some things toddlers learn are visual expression, spatial intelligence, and colour recognition.

Vertical Drawing ✍️ Vertical drawing allows children to further develop the essential fine, visual, and gross motor skills. It also assists the children in developing their spatial awareness, hand-eye coordination as well as being able to cross the midline.

Harmony Week 💛🧡
This is one of our Harmony week activities that the children enjoyed. This activity helped the children to explore different materials as they used their fine motor skills and imagination.

A big thank you to Fire and Rescue NSW Station 459 Terrigal for visiting us this morning! The children loved learning about fire safety, practicing how to get down low and of course seeing the fire truck and hose. See you next time!
