Meet Zainab & Kiranjeet – Two of Our Dedicated Educators at Erina Kindergarten.

Today, we’re introducing Zainab and Kiranjeet, two passionate members of the Erina Kindergarten team.

Zainab has been part of our team for the past six months and works in the Bush Babies Room while working towards becoming an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT).

Kiranjeet is an ECT in the Gum Nuts Room and loves creating meaningful learning experiences for children. She enjoys watching children grow and learn each day and believes that every day at Erina Kindergarten brings something new.

Both educators share a passion for planning experiences that reflect children's individual interests, needs, and development.

From observing children's curiosity to creating experiences that encourage exploration and learning, they love being part of each child's journey.

We’re proud to have Zainab and Kiranjeet as part of our Erina Kindergarten team and love seeing their passion and dedication in action every day.

This week, our kindergarten was filled with stories, imagination, and plenty of creative costumes!

Our children and educators dressed up as characters from some of their favourite books — from Batman and Elsa to pirates, angels, ninjas, and so many more!

It was wonderful to see everyone's imagination come to life and to celebrate the joy of books and storytelling together.

Book Week is a beautiful opportunity for children to connect stories with creativity, encourage a love of reading, and share their favourite characters with friends and educators.

A big thank you to all our families and educators for helping make Book Week such a fun and memorable celebration!

Meet Love, who has been part of the Erina Kindergarten team for the past seven months.

Love is passionate about spending time with children, creating engaging educational experiences, and making learning fun through play and exploration.

He especially enjoys taking children into the garden and getting involved in special incursion experiences, giving children opportunities to discover and learn beyond the classroom.

Building strong and positive relationships with families is also an important part of Love's role. He enjoys communicating with families and working together to support each child's learning journey.

Love is also passionate about learning from his mentors at Erina Kindergarten and continuing to grow as an educator.

We're excited to see Love continue to develop his skills and become an important part of the children's learning and development at Erina Kindergarten.

From Our Chickens to Our Eggs – Learning Sustainability at Erina Kindergarten

At Erina Kindergarten, sustainability is part of everyday learning.

Our children have the opportunity to care for our chickens, observe how they live, and even discover fresh eggs in our own kindergarten environment.

These hands-on experiences help children understand the natural cycle of caring for animals, food, and the environment. From feeding and caring for our chickens to seeing where eggs come from, children can experience sustainability in a real and meaningful way.

As we continue to embed sustainability practices across our centre, we're proud to have been nominated for the Environmental Program Excellence Award.

For our children, it's not just about seeing the cycle — it's about being part of it.

Meet Miss Sunabi, our wonderful Room Leader in the Emus Room at Erina Kindergarten.

Sunabi has been part of the Erina Kindergarten team for almost one and a half years and loves creating meaningful learning experiences that connect with children's interests and our ongoing projects.

One of her favourite parts of the day is taking the children out into our garden to visit the bunnies and chickens, as well as harvesting fresh herbs, fruits, and vegetables.

These hands-on experiences give children opportunities to explore nature, care for living things, and discover where food comes from.

Sunabi also enjoys creating arts and crafts inspired by the children's interests, project investigations, and special events. Through these experiences, children can express their ideas, develop their creativity, and learn through hands-on exploration.

We're so happy to have Sunabi as part of the Erina Kindergarten team and love seeing the meaningful experiences she creates with the children every day!

Meet Aastha, who has been part of the Erina Kindergarten team for the past three years and works with our Preschool children.

Aastha is currently working towards becoming an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) and has developed a genuine passion for early childhood education through her experience at Erina Kindergarten.

What she loves most is watching children explore, follow their curiosity, and develop new skills. Every child’s growth also gives Aastha new opportunities to learn, reflect, and grow as an educator.

She enjoys planning meaningful learning experiences based on children's individual interests, abilities, and emerging skills—helping them build confidence as they explore and discover the world around them.

We’re proud to have Aastha as part of our team and look forward to supporting her continued journey towards becoming an ECT.
