Our school community has once again come together with kindness and generosity. 🎄✨

Our P&F were proud to coordinate this year’s Christmas donation drive, and we’re especially grateful to our SRC students who helped load all the gifts donated by CCGS families.

This year’s collections will support We Care Connect, helping local children and families in need, and Epico, who are supporting families staying at Ronald McDonald House over Christmas. We’re grateful for the important work these organisations do and for the generosity of our community in supporting families who need extra support at this time of year.

Thank you to everyone who contributed in helping make this initiative possible. 💛

To all the incredible CCGS teachers and staff who inspire and nurture our children each and every day, THANK YOU. Your kindness, care and compassion ripple far beyond the classroom. You steady little hearts, spark big ideas, and help our kids believe in themselves. You guide our older students through exams, leadership opportunities and life’s next steps, building the confidence and character they need for the future.

“A teacher presents the past, reveals the present and creates the future.”

Today, we honour the countless moments that make that true: early mornings, thoughtful lessons, patient explanations, reassuring smiles, and the gentle encouragement that turns challenges into confidence.

To every teacher, aide, specialist, librarian, office legend, grounds and maintenance team, and support staff, your quiet acts of service build a school community where children feel seen, safe and inspired. We are deeply grateful for all you do, for the extra time, the extra care, and the extra love.

Thank you for shaping not only minds but character. Your impact lasts a lifetime.

Reminder - old uniforms can be donated tomorrow - Friday Feb 3 in the PAC car park 7-9:30am for recycling. Any families looking for second hand pieces are welcome to help sort and take for FREE.

Busy week for the P&F with the "Drop and Swap" second hand uniform drive on Friday and the Headmasters Welcome gathering on Saturday evening.
Second hand uniforms can be donated in the PAC carpark between 7 - 9:30am Friday. Anybody looking for uniform items is welcome to assist with sorting, taking any pieces free of charge. Our partner Upparel will take remain items for upcycling.
