Our library is the hub of the school. It is a busy and vibrant space where students can further develop their love of reading. Students are also explicitly taught research skills and the discerning use of online information to support them to be safe, respectful and responsible digital citizens.

Thank you to the 44 parents who joined us at P&C online last night to hear about Assessment and Reporting at our school. We are grateful to have such strong community interest and support. The P&C meets second Tuesday of every month (during school terms). In addition to gathering valuable feedback and opinions, they also support the Principal and executive team to share information on topics of interest.

Congratulations to our Stage 3 Debating Team who won their second round against Warrawee Public School. The theme was 'Media' and the topic was 'All children under the age of 12 should never be allowed to use smartphones' . Epping Heights were the affirmative side and we were successful in winning in a very close debate. Today’s speakers were from both year 5 and 6 and for two of them, it was their first ever debate. Well done to our team- Ibrahim (4/5L), Grace (6G), Emily (6G), Zoe (5BP) and Dhriti (6G). Debating is one of the many enrichment programs at our school https://eppinghts-p.schools.nsw.gov.au/learning-and-support/high-potential-and-gifted-education

Our Principal Ms Bridekirk loves to read the award winning book to Kindergarten each year on National Simultaneous Story time day. https://alia.org.au/Web/Web/Events/Event_Display.aspx?EventKey=NSS2026
This year’s book taught children the valuable message…. “Next time someone doubts you and you don’t feel you belong, muster all your inner strength and prove that someone wrong”.
