Dear Parents / Guardians,
Due to the current COVID-19 lockdown for Greater Sydney, face-to-face classes are unable to be provided.
From the first week of Term 3, starting next weekend (17th

-18th July), all classes across our three branches

will be moved online until further notice.
Parents and guardians are reminded to pay school fees by Monday 12th July, otherwise your child will not
receive a link to the online lessons and related learning materials. Payment instructions and details can be
found on the school website. Please remember to send a transaction summary to the school email address:
[email protected].
Your child’s class teacher will keep you informed with the arrangement of online lessons and will also send
you the relevant textbook chapter for each week’s lesson via email. Alternatively, the textbooks can be
downloaded without cost from www.huayuworld.org.
Parents and guardians are expected to support their child(s) during online learning, especially for those in
Kindergarten to Grade 2. Together with your support, we hope to achieve the best possible learning
outcomes for your child.
We will continue to keep you updated about the situation and inform you when face-to-face lessons can
resume via our school website: www.ammchineseschool.org. Should you have any queries, please do not
hesitate to contact your school’s principals. As always, we appreciate your understanding in this difficult
time.

Chinese Classes at North Shore Branch classes cancelled
for tomorrow 27.6.2021

Dear Parents / Guardians,
Following the government’s latest Covid-19 related restrictions for a two-week
lock-down of the Greater Sydney area to combat the spread of COVID-19, all our
Chinese classes at North Shore Branch will be cancelled tomorrow (27.6.2021).
Due to the sudden restriction, NO online classes will be provided tomorrow.
Teachers will email parents regarding holiday homework for students in the next
couple of days. School reports for the first semester will be distributed to
students once classes can be resumed next semester.
The school will continue to closely monitor the situation and inform our school
community of any important updates via our school website:

各位家長 / 監護人和同學:

我們非常感謝Killara High School 已同意借出其校舍給我們，特别感謝神的帶領和供應，我們能夠繼續在雪梨北岸(North Shore) 社區內提供中文教育。我們分校會易名為 “North Shore Branch” 以反影我們為此社區提供中文教育的承諾。

新學年的開學日是2021 年1月31日在Killara High School ，校址是 Koola Avenue, Killara, NSW。

現在新校址已確定，在此鼓勵大家盡快報名 2021 年上學期的中文班，以便我們可以計劃明年的編班事宜。如果你們已繳交學費，但是 Killara High School 新校舍的位置為你們帶來不便，請聯絡分校陳校長商討。

在開學前，我們會有通告詳盡說明開學的安排，請大家留意我們的網頁、你們的 Email 和 WhatsApp。

We are glad to inform you and are very grateful that Killara High School has agreed to be our host school for the AMCS Chatswood Branch in 2021. We are especially thankful for God’s guidance and provision, so that our Chinese language classes for the North Shore community can continue in the coming years. Our Branch name will be changed to ‘North Shore Branch’ to reflect our commitment to serving the North Shore community.

As such, we can confirm that the commencement of Semester 1 2021 classes on 31st January will be at Killara High School, addressed Koola Avenue, Killara, NSW.

As the new location has been confirmed, we encourage everyone to enrol for our classes in Semester 1 of 2021 now so that we can begin planning our classes for next year. If you have already enrolled but find the location of Killara High School inconvenient for you, please contact the branch Principal, Cecy Chan, to discuss.
